The Hardin County Crime Task Force served a search warrant Wednesday after a lengthy investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics. The address of the search warrant was 16925 Twp Rd 39 in Roundhead Township.
Upon searching the location an active meth lab was discovered, rendered safe and dismantled. The Task Force also seized 360 grams of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of over $10,000.
There was also marijuana and heroin seized along with other drug paraphernalia and scales used in the sale of illegal narcotics.
The location of the next regular meeting of the Ada village council has been changed from the City Building to the Railroad Depot. Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
Liberty National Bank is participating in the Welcome Home Program, which is a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati.
The program was designed to assist eligible homeowners with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.
The program provides up to $5,000 in grant money for eligible homeowners and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Funds will be available starting March 1, and will end when the money is no longer available.
Agricultural producers wanting to enhance current conservation efforts are encouraged to apply for the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP).
Through CSP, USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) helps private landowners build their business while implementing conservation practices that help ensure the sustainability of their entire operation. NRCS plans to enroll up to 10 million acres in CSP in 2018.
While applications for CSP are accepted year-round, applications must be received by March 2, 2018, to be considered for this funding period.
Bridge Bereavement Services will be offering a Forever Memories for Families Group focused on loss, grief and healing through the creation of a memory frame. The group will be held on Thursday, February 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in The Hub at Birchaven Village, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay.
The group is open to any child, adult or family who has recently experienced the death of a loved one. Participants are welcome to come commemorate their loved one’s life, love and memories shared within the frame. The loved one did not need to be a patient of Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
