Swing states Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin lean Biden; Ohio a toss-up

Results from the fourth 2020 Baldwin Wallace University Great Lakes Poll show Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden leading in Michigan and Wisconsin.

The races in Pennsylvania and Ohio are closer, with Biden up five points in Pennsylvania and down two points in Ohio.

Distribution at ONU stadium • 38,356 pounds of food handed out in September

The October West Ohio Food Bank's Hardin County food distribution takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Dial-Roberson Stadium on the ONU campus, according to Jason Aldrich.

Enter on Klingler Road. To received food persons must be 18 or older, have a valid photo ID and proof of residency, be at or below 230 percent of the federal poverty guidelines and sign and eligibility to take food home form.

The most recent food distribution was on "Hunger Action Day" Sept. 10.

During the event, 100 families, most from Hardin County, were served. The West Ohio Food Bank distributed 38,356 pounds of food during the afternoon.

Division III soccer pairing were set on Sunday. Here's where Ada boys and girls teams are placed. 

The Ada boys soccer team was seeded fourth at the 12-team Div. III sectional drawing. Ada (8-7) will host 12th seed Otsego Wednesday, October 21 in the tournament.         

The winner will face Mansfield Christian Saturday, Oct. 24. The victor in that game will likely face unbeaten top seed Bluffton (12-0-2) Wednesday, Oct. 28 in the district semifinals.

Girls' travel to Delphos tonight • Boys face Tiffin Calvert Thursday

KENTON - Kenton defeated visiting Hardin County rival Ada 5-2 in a non-league boys soccer match Saturday evening at Robinson Field.

The defeat dropped the Bulldog record to 8-7. The Wildcats improved to 9-3-2 with the non-league victory.

Senior Jacob Poling tallied his 24th goal for Ada. Bulldog Carter Conley netted the other purple and gold score.

Wildcat Kyle Kirk put the game out of reach 5-2 on an unassisted goal with 47 seconds left to play.

Bulldog senior Ian Dellifield made eight saves in goal. Ada freshman keeper Colton Long also was credited with eight stops.
