LIMA BATH__The visiting Ada High School tennis team defeated Bath 3-2 in a makeup match on Monday evening, May 11.
The Bulldog netters improved to 3-7 after posting their third win in four matches. Bath fell to 0-11 after the loss.
“I feel like we are making progress, and I am lucky to be a part of it,” said first-year Ada head coach Shelleigh Alexander. “We have been learning what it takes to win and I hope we can use that momentum going into sectionals.”
Hard-serving Bulldog junior Brandon Prater rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at second singles over Wildcat junior Braycon Jolliff.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Ada High School Foundation would like to recognize Motherson Atsumitec USA, formerly Ada Technologies Inc., for their support of its foundation. For 10+ years the manufacturer has sponsored a scholarship for a graduating senior pursuing a career in engineering.
This year’s scholarship donation will total $800. The foundation would like to thank this company for helping graduating seniors pursue their dreams.

ADA__The Ada High School baseball team was seeded eighth in its tough eight-team Northwest 1 Div. VI sectional drawing, which was finalized on Sunday, May 10.
The Bulldogs (7-12) will play at top seed St. Henry (16-2) in the sectional finals on Saturday, May 23 at 2 p.m.
The winner advances to the district semifinals at McGuffey on Wednesday, May 27 at 4:30 p.m. vs. the Parkway (8-14)/Lima Perry (9-5) survivor.
The district finals are slated for Friday, May 29 in Shelby at 5 p.m.
