Two Ada Elementary School friends are now business partners at Truly Rooted, 220 N Main St. Dawn Waugh and Lee Ann Jordan have created a cosy, cottage-core retail space with vendors providing clothing, spirit wear, hats, florals and food. February 3 was the shop's soft open. Stay tuned for news on their grand opening.

PUBLIC NOTICE__Courthouse Security Screening Policy; Effective Date: February 9,2026 

1. The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety and security of all individuals  within the courthouse by preventing the introduction of weapons, explosives, and  prohibited items into the facility.  

2. All individuals entering the Hardin County Court House-including citizens, legal professionals, and employees, are subject to security screening.  

a. Hours of operation: Screening stations are active during all hours the building is open to the public. Monday- Friday 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

ADA__The Ada High School girls basketball team ran out to a 29-0 halftime lead and dominated visiting Calvary Christian 43-4 to punctuate Senior Night on Tuesday, February 3.

The Bulldog girls led 13-0 after the first period as Lucy Carter nailed the game’s only triple and scored five points.
