In 157 years most of the early farms in Liberty Township have changed owners. A few, however, have been passed down through the generations, and descendants of some of the early settlers still grow crops on the land their ancestors cleared. DETOUR MAP ROUTE AT BOTTOM OF STORY -
Watch for more traffic through Main Street Ada the week of April 22.
State Route 81 just east of State Route 235, within the village of Ada, will close Monday, April 22, for approximately one week for a water line repair project, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Local drivers will create their own detour paths around State Route 81 on the east side of Ada.
Check the map below - Meanwhile, ODOT's official detour route brings traffic through Main Street (SR 235) then to SR 309-701 on to US 68 and back to SR 81. Work is being performed by the Village of Ada.
Next time you are in the showcase area of Ada schools look closely at the Bulldog memorabilia. Tucked into the display is this Ada Bulldog sign created to connect to the license plate on your vehicle. This was in the era before bumperstickers existed.
FROM ONU WEBSITE - ONU criminal justice major Aaron Everhart is a hometown guy, having grown up in Ada.

Through his family’s business, Everhart Trucking LLC, Aaron was presented with the opportunity to operate a truck used in the filming of a CBS Super Bowl pregame commercial filmed just down the road from ONU’s campus at the Wilson Football Factory.
