Your invitation to a Dec. 30 community meal

St. Mark Lutheran Church serves drive up/walk up meal

St. Mark Lutheran Church will hold its "Last Wednesday Community Meal"  Wednesday Dec. 30.

The meal will be served drive up/walk up only and is free to the community.  The meal is not fully planned yet, but will involve some sort of ham.

The meal runs 5  to 6:30 pm. Current safety protocols will be observed.

"In October we served over 80 meals and ran out," Tom Lehman told the Icon. "We would like to see that turn out again - without the running out part."

The video went live on Sunday and begins with a visit to the church altar with a Christmas creche tableau of the birth of Jesus.

Soon the video takes viewers to a close up of a Christmas tree, red poinsettias and closes with a reflection of the main church window on the Christ child.
