The following announcements were provided by First Baptist Church of Ada, 350 W North Ave.

Easter Breakfast, 8:00 a.m. - April 17. Special Guest Speaker: Endalikachew Daba Degefu. There will be no Sunday School this Sunday as we would like all to join us.

The D1 Ada Campus is an Assemblies of God church located at 123 E Buckeye Ave, which is also the studio at the Buckeye East Coffee Shop. Coffee is served before and after services.

Worship service is held at 3 p.m. on Sundays and is open to everyone. The FUEL youth group meets every Sunday 6:00-8:00 p.m. This service is for youth in 6th grade and up.

Delphos First Assembly, 808 Metbliss Ave, Delphos, OH, is the parent church. The pastor is Fred Rowe.

Rowe is very involved at Ada D1. Pastor Amber Simon became the Youth Pastor of the Ada Campus in summer 2021. Amber and her husband Nick Simon run the youth program with praise and worship leader Jennifer Fleming.

Ada Church of Christ, 316 S.Main St., Is hosting a free clothing giveaway each month on the second Tuesday and 3rd Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Items include newborn to 3X men's and women's  clothes. There will also be boots, shoes, purses, coats, hats, gloves and more.

Clothes are freshly laundered. Everyone is welcome, no qualifications. Please enter from the alley behind the church. Other times and days are available by appointment only. Contact Dana at 419-233-4476.

St. Mark Lutheran will have in person Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 2. 

St. Mark is located at 125 S. Johnson St. (at the corner of E. Lincoln) in Ada.

Ada First United Methodist Church will be hosting an Ash Wednesday drive-through prayer and imposition of ashes from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on March 2.

You can pull under the church carport off Highland Avenue and Pastor Brandi will offer a brief reading of scripture, prayer, and the imposition of ashes.

A walking prayer labyrinth will also be available in the church building for use during the above lunch and evening schedule.

St. Mark Lutheran will serve it's Free Community Meal on Wednesday,
February 23 from 5-6:30 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Lincoln and Johnson.

The meal is free and opened to the public. You may drive up, dine in, or carry out. 

The February menu is pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, cole slaw, chips, fruit, and a cookie.  The church reports that it served 75 meals in January and notes "we hope to see you there."
