Thanksgiving dinner • children's family shopping event • holiday raffle

Three holiday-related events are on the calendar at Beatitudes, 210 N. Main St., Ada, according to Deb Curlis.

Thanksgiving dinner to go
The annual Thanksgiving dinner is a drive-thru event this year. It takes place from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24. Participants are asked to call in reservations to help in planning the appropriate number of meals needed. Call 419-788-9459.

Children family shopping event 
The annual children’s family shopping event is from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4.

You can paint it at the November PaintINN

Even if you can't play the French horn, you can paint it.

November's PaintINN at The Inn at ONU features the opportunity to paint a Christmas French horn and includes supplies, instruction, a glass of wine, non-alchoholic beverages and a buffet pous dessert.

The PaintInn is at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, at The Inn, 401 W. College Ave., Ada.

Reservations are required by calling 419-772-4112. Seating is limited so that we may comply with all social distancing requirements. Masks are required when not dining.

The cost is $40 plus tax and gratuity. 

The Ada Schools District has made the decision to cancel this year's Veterans' breakfast, according to Meri Skilliter, superintendent.  

"Many factors have gone into this decision but we feel, in the best interest of keeping all those in our school community safe, as well as our veterans and their families, cancelling this year's breakfast is the best option for all involved," she said. 

"The Ada Schools continue to support and appreciate our veterans in every way and we hope to re-institute this cherished tradition next year."  

The Ada School District is still sponsoring its traditional Veterans’ Day
breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 11, according to Dave Lusk.

"However, due to covid-19, this year’s breakfast will be drive through/pick up only."

"We invite all veterans and their families as well as active duty service personnel who live, work or worship within the boundaries of the Ada Exempted Village Schools to pick up breakfast between 8 and 9 a.m.
