MEDIA RELEASE__Join Ohio State University Extension for a free event on February 3 to learn more about tar spot in corn, new resources and ask questions about tar spot.
The program will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Ohio State University Extension Office in Hardin County, located at 1021 West Lima Street, Suite 103, Kenton, OH 43326. The program is capped at 30 participants due to space constraints, so pre-registration is required. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
MEDIA RELEASE–A fertilizer applicator certification training class is being held in Hardin County on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Ohio State University Extension in Hardin County office in Kenton.
The class will run from noon-3:00 p.m. The cost of the class is $30. A copy of the Tri-State Fertilizer Recommendations for Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, and Alfalfa will be provided.

Downtown Ada was bustling with Merry on Main activities on Saturday, December 13. The annual event is promoted by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce.
Families gathered at Depot Park to meet with Santa Claus and Ohio Northern’s lovable polar bear mascot, Klondike. The Depot was also the staging area for free horse-drawn wagon rides.
