This is the final weekend for Suter's corn maze, cider and hayrides. Here are this weekend's hours (Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2-3). It is located at 12200 Pandora Road, Pandora.

Cider Press: 
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m.- 6 p.m.

Corn Maze and Hayrides: 
Saturday and Sunday.:  1 p.m. - 6 p.m. 
(last admission to the corn maze is 5 p.m.)

"Tnis is also your last chance for fresh donuts, cider slushies and kettle corn," said Jerry Suter.

The Ada Kiwanis Club will hold its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Ada High School cafeteria.

Club members will serve Peter Previte's homemade spaghetti, salad, bread sticks and drinks. One may eat-in or carry-out.

Advance sale tickets are $7 each, with children under 10 free. Tickets at the door will be $8. Advance sale tickets are available at the following locations:

Organized in 1957 to promote harmony and goodwill between townspeople and the university

One of the Ada community’s oldest continuing traditions, Town and Gown banquet, takes place Monday, Nov. 4, in McIntosh Center on the Ohio Northern University campus.

The event, open to the public, is co-sponsored by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and ONU. The Town and Gown Association was organized in 1957 to promote harmony and goodwill between the townspeople and the university. 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and a dinner and program follow in the McIntosh Ballroom at 6 p.m.

Woodlawn Cemetary tour includes live action portrayals

The Ada Historical Society invites residents to a free Woodlawn Cemetary tour from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20.

“Learn about the rich history of our great village through live action portrayals of our diverse and fascinating ancestors,” said Rhett Grant, member of the historical society.

Tours start on the east side of the cemetery and take about 30 minutes.

Seven Ada High School students will participate in the tours by portraying former Ada residents. The students and persons they portray follow:

• Reece Evans will portray William H. Morrow

• Alex Morgan will portray Albert Rogall

• Daniel Nash will portray W. R. Routson
