Art, music, and drama will be featured at the third annual Friends of the Alger Public Library Second Expression event to be held from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the library.

Second Expression was inspired by the financial need of the library and the desire to provide visibility and income opportunity for the artists in Hardin County.
All artwork is created using old or unwanted printed materials, giving a "second expression" to the long life and usefulness of the printed word.

The BGSU grad majored in theatre and speech, has performed since the 1960s, and began writing scripts 20 years ago. His works have been performed throughout the country.
