First meeting Thursday, Jan. 11 at ReStore

ReStore Community Center, 210 N. Main, will begin hosting a monthly bereavement support group beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11.

The program will begin with a free dinner and is for anyone experiencing the loss of a relative or close friend.

Rev. Trent Boedicker of Grace Gospel Church will lead the first session. The group will meet at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at ReStore.

Hanson-Neely Funeral Homes will hold its 14th  annual remembrance service at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, at its Ada chapel, 311 E. Lima Ave. Persons attending may arrive anytime between 2 and 3 p.m. A short memorial service will take place at 3 p.m.  A time of sharing and light refreshments will follow.

The annual Hardin County Democratic Party Christmas dinner will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at Henry's Restaurant in Kenton. Greetings from Chairman Michael Hubbell will be at 6 p.m. with the catered dinner to follow. There will be a business meeting at 7 p.m. 

 

The agenda will include a review of the November roundtable discussion, redistricting petition drive update, possible MLK Day event, and presentation about Sen. Sherrod Brown's positions.
