The Inn at ONU hosts the event Oct. 27-28

Here's the lowdown on the Friday-Saturday, Oct. 27-28 comedy murder mystery event at The Inn at ONU.

Family and friends of Horatio Hornblow Haversham gather at his mountain castle on his 90th birthday. A terrible storm rages on outside but even more dire events take place inside the mansion walls. A midnight séance! Ghostly spirits from beyond! A last will is missing! Mysterious uninvited strangers. And dead bodies piling up. This funny murder mystery has lots of laughs and chills.

Appetizers are served from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and the drama follows.

Lima native Fred Krakowiak, nature and wildlife artist, will have a display of his artwork at ArtSpace/Lima Sept. 15 through Oct. 28, according to Bill Sullivan of ArtSpace.

Krakowiak will present a multi-media discussion and demonstration of his work at a Soup & Salad Lecture at ArtSpace on Thursday, Oct. 5.  Visit the ArtSpace website for reservation information, www. artspacelima.com.

A public reception will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

 

The Liberty Conservation Club monthly fish fry will not be held this month due to the Hardin County fair. The next fish fry is set for Oct. 14.

Among University of Findlay's Lifelong Learning Connections sessions

Lifelong Learning Connections, formerly known as Senior Forum, will be offering a variety of sessions in October.

Hosted by the University of Findlay and sponsored by the Office of University Advancement, the program provides opportunities for additional learning about interesting topics. The sessions, hosted by University experts and those from the region. Most will be held each Wednesday in October in the University’s Alumni Memorial Union on Frazer Street, but some will involve tours. Participants may choose their level of involvement by attending as many sessions as they wish.

The Ada Kiwanis Club has decided that the annual Halloween parade, that they sponsor for the community, will be held on Monday, Oct. 23, this year.​

Kid's night out, Halloween party, indoor soccer, adult volleyball - just for starters

Bluffton Family Recreation has a wide assortment of programming for youth and adults this fall, according to Amy Byers, BFR sports coordinator.
