The 4th annual Ada Gospel Sing will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Walter's home, 2845 Heritage Place, which is near Norada Lanes. Look for a large tent.

The event is free. Bring a lawn chair. Food will be available for a purchase.

The next senior dance at ReStore, 210 N. Main St., Ada, is from 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, July 8. Walter Miller plays the favorites.

Sugar Grove United Methodist Church will hold its second annual ice cream social and silent auction from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 11.

The silent auction will close at 6:45 p.m. and includes several gift baskets and donated items. 

An adult ticket costs $6 and includes a shredded chicken or barbecue sandwich, choice of side, choice of salad, drink, and Dietsch Brothers Ice Cream. 

A child ticket costs $3 and includes hot dog, mac and cheese, applesauce, drink, Dietsch Brothers Ice Cream, and a cookie or brownie.

A free program on contagious wellness and weight loss will be held at 5:30 p.m., Monday, June 29, at Bluffton Family Recreation, 2015 Snider Road, Bluffton, according to Jeff Reichardt of the 20/30 Fast Track Program.

“If you are interested in contagious wellness and would like to know why seven hormones prevent you from enjoying contagious wellness and weight loss, please join us for the informative program,” he said.

The ONU Music Camp chorus, band and orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the Freed Center. The program is free and open to the public.

This year's camp began Sunday evening when the 102 campers attended the rousing performance of The Cadets in the stadium.

Campers are students in grades 7 through 12. Dr. Sarah Waters directs the camp, now in its 44th year.

The Ada VFW will sponsor a car and bike show on Saturday, July 18, at the post located one mile north of Ada on State Route 235.

The event is free and open to the public.

Registration is from 2 to 5 p.m., judging 5 to 7 p.m., awards at 8 p.m.

Karaoke will begin at 8 pm. Food and beverages will be available throughout the day.
