It received honorable mention in the first grade "student choice" category. The art work was on exhibit in the elementary office. Watch for a list of all winners.

Ada Girl Scouts puzzle in the park

Ada Girl Scouts have big summer plans.  Hardin County Girl Scouts are taking part in the GSWO Community Challenge & Change Project, which is a USDA grant funded program that asks the girls to develop a project that addresses a community need.

The girls have determined that Ada kids need more activities that encourage healthy lifestyles, promote creative learning, and role model good decision making. They designed an idea for a children’s program that would take place at the park.
