The Ada Church of Christ, 316 S. Main, will host a Gospel Sing at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26. Several soloists and small groups will perform. The program is free and open to the public.

The Ada Music Boosters will hold its annual BBQ from 4:30 until 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, prior to the first home game, which is against USV. Tickets, at $9 each, are now on sale. They can be obtained these four ways:

After a week-long summer camp, Ada High School's Varsity Singers will present their 2018-19 premier performance at 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3 in the Ada school auditorium. The show is free and open to the public.
“Little Red” (as in Little Red Riding Hood) is this year’s theme. Vocalists are directed by Scott Henning, now in his third year at Ada, and instrumentalists are directed by Jonathan Lischak, a 10-year teacher at AHS. There are 28 singers, 13 band members, and 4 crew members this year.
Oshra Gadkar, an ONU student, is choreographer. Aleece Al-Olimat, an AHS sophomore, is pianist.

Clark Hall is gone, having been demolished and hauled away in trucks during the past month, but a limited number of bricks were saved and are available at $50 each.
Clark served as a residence hall for many years. Those with fond memories of the place can keep a brick as a memento.
Proceeds from the sale of the bricks will benefit the Northern Fund which supports campus improvements, academic programs, student life, faculty research and financial aid.
Bricks can be purchased via online pre-pay. They will be available for pick up at the activities tent at Homecoming.
The Ohio Northern men's tennis program is set to raise the curtain on its 2018 fall schedule September 15-16 at the Oberlin Invitational under third-year head coach Mike Bonnell.
The team will then return to action as they face off against Findlay on the road Saturday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m.
The Polar Bears will conclude their fall slate at the three-day ITA Central Regionals Tournament scheduled for September 28-30 in St. Louis, Missouri.
The 2019 spring schedule will be announced later this winter.
