Ohio Northern University student Elissa McCracken was crowned Miss Ohio on Saturday in Mansfield. She will compete for the Miss America title in January 2013 in Las Vegas.
McCracken, 20, of Waynesburg, Pa., is a pharmacy major at ONU. She won the crown over 24 other contestants. As Miss Ohio she will receie a $10,000 scholarship from Newman Technology among other gifts. McCracken's platform is "stop cyberbullying."

Blanchard Valley Hospital is pleased to announce that the HeartCare Center will be renamed the Jane & Gary Heminger HeartCare Center. The renaming comes in tribute of the Heminger’s recent donation to support cardiovascular services at BVH and in recognition of their many contributions to Blanchard Valley Hospital throughout the years.

Those questions sound easy, but just try them. Lots of Ada's youth tried and succeeded during Saturday's bicycle rodeo. The event, held behind the police station was sponsored by the Ada Police, fire and rescue.
