at the Kenton County Fairgrounds.

The fairgrounds have issued a letter regarding the extent of damage HERE.

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Bill Herr at the Bluffton Senior Center, which he visits weekly. I hope you enjoy your 15 minutes with Bill as much as I did. 

Where did you grow up? 

MEDIA RELEASE__Every four years Area Agency on Aging 3 conducts a Needs Assessment Survey to help gather data to form the Strategic Plan that will be a blueprint for operations for the future.

The Needs Assessment Survey is given to individuals enrolled in the agency’s programs, providers and community members. The survey is distributed throughout the 7-county service area of Area Agency on Aging 3, including Allen Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Putnam and Van Wert counties. The Strategic Plan is a document that will help drive the services, supports and resources for the aging population in those seven counties.

MEDIA RELEASE__Wonder when and how you can get your child involved in 4-H? While many youth programs are aligned with the school year, the 4-H program takes a break during the fall and runs from March to September. The current enrollment deadline is April 15.

The following information is provided by the OSU Extension in Hardin County:

We have 27 clubs across the county and about 700 youth engaged in 4-H project work.  Our 4-H season typically begins in late February/early March. This is when clubs will have their organizational meetings and get members enrolled for the year.  

MEDIA RELEASE__The Hardin County Master Gardener Volunteer Annual Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, May 16 from 10:00 a.m.-noon at the Friendship Gardens.

The gardens are located at 960 West Kohler Street, Kenton, OH 43326.
