Goodbye blue totes, hello red totes as Wright Refuse replaces Republic as the trash hauler in town.
New totes, different color. Wright will be picking up trash next week. When the blue totes from Republic are emptied Tuesday morning.
Leave the Republic totes at the curb for Republic to retrieve after they are emptied on Tuesday.
Council accepted Wright’s bid, which was the lowest, for a new three-year contract. The water/sewer/trash bill will increase with the December billing. The trash portion of the bill has been $14 a month for the past three years. It will now be $17.25.

Leaf pickup in Ada is in full swing.
Members of the village street department follow the schedule (below) as best as possible depending on the weather. Leaves have fallen later this year and the cold, wet weather has kept some homeowners from raking the leaves to the curb.
Hopefully, residents will have the leaves raked and the village will have them picked up by the first week of December.
