For many, the holiday season is a busy, stressful time of the year, and it’s common for health goals to take a backseat to the celebrations and obligations of the season.

For some tips and ideas to relax and enjoy the holidays in a healthier way this year, Jami Dellifield, family and consumer sciences educator at Hardin County's extension office, has a suggestion.

Crimson Lane is in Ada's backyard; open house attracts several hundred persons

Hundreds of people attended the open house for Crimson Lane wedding and event center on Saturday afternoon. The new multimillion dollar facility is a dream come true for brides and grooms...and for the owners, Mike and Jody Willeke.

Incredibly, 45 weddings already have been booked. The Willekes did their homework, determining that a weddings venue is needed in the area. Shortly after construction began last spring, future brides began to reserve dates for their dream wedding at Crimson Lane.

Three local issues - school renewal levy, fire additional levy and county 4-H  renewal levy - are on the Ada and Liberty Township Tuesday, Nov. 6. ballot.

The 2018 mid-term election  - actually, its outcome – will probably be the story of the year in the United States.

The time changes this weekend. Fall back one hour. In other words, if you go to bed at 11 p.m. on Saturday, change your clocks to 10 p.m. You gain an hour of sleep. There will be more daylight in the mornings, which is a safety factor for children going to school; but, you’ll loose an hour of daylight in the evenings.
