A large crowd was on hand for the 33rd annual Ada Harvest and Herb Fest on Saturday. Good weather, a record number of vendors, the crowning of a queen, a parade and family-friendly entertainment drew many people to Ada’s Main Street from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Almost magically, everyone was packed up, the street sweeper had done its job, and SR 235 was open to traffic by 5 p.m.

Parade, downtown vendors, entertainment and a queen for the day

It's Harvest and Herb weekend in Ada.

The 33rd annual Ada Area Chamber of Commerce's Harvest and Herb Festival offers many activities on Saturday in downtown Ada, according to Deb Curlis, chamber director.

This year’s festival is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. As in past year’s, it will fill Ada’s Main Street from Highland to College.

The festival has 180 spaces available for vendors and those spaces are almost full.
