"The registration deadline has past, but we has several unmatched college students excited to become Bigs so we will be accepting applications on a rolling basis," said Kara Dilts of Friends.
Registration was sent to Ada Schools in a paper packet format. The organization's Our kick-off party is Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Chapel at Ohio Northern University from 4:30-6 p.m. This will be the first time the new Bigs and Littles will meet.

Ada civic clubs and churches took advantage of the Harvest and Herb Fest last weekend by making themselves known and encouraging membership. Some groups gave out water and Bibles while others had games to play, sold food, or sponsored raffles.
This is a series of photos of several of the civic and church groups who were on hand for the festival.

By 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, hundreds of people will be in a line near Wilson Sporting Good Co. factory on East Liberty Street. They are there to get bargains on footballs, basketballs, baseball gloves, golf and tennis items, and equipment for many other sports.
The sale runs from 8 a.m. until noon for parents and grandparents looking for Christmas gifts for kids, for coaches, and for many other reasons. Is the sale worth going to? The hundreds of people who attend will attest to the fact that, “Yes it is.”
