Ada schools have adjusted the school calendar due to the most recent snow day.
One make-up day is required at this time. That means that the last day of school is Friday, May 25.
A new addition to Bluffton Family Recreation’s class offerings to youth this spring is a home school recreation class, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director.
The class is open to youth of all ages and is held on Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m. in the BFR indoor soccer arena, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.
Tinch said that the class offers lots of different physical education opportunities for homeschooled youth.
The award-winning Ada Winter Guards will give a free community performance at 8 p.m. on Monday April 16, in the K-12 gym. The Ada High School Winter Guard, Ada High School Dance Line, and Ada Junior High Winter Guard will perform. All three teams have been undefeated in Ohio Indoor Performance Association competition this season.
A representative from Central Collection Agency (CCA) will be on hand from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the Depot to assist in filling out village income tax forms. The CCA annually sends someone to Ada to assist in completing the tax forms.
Bluffton Family Recreation offers adult swim classes at Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio Maple Crest pool on Augsburger Road, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR executive director.
Here's the class schedule: • Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays
9:30-10:15 a.m. - Strength, range of motion and cardio
• Tuesdays and Thursdays
8:30-9:15 a.m. - Higher level cardio
