112th Interclass Competition Friday in school auditorium

The 112th Interclass Competition will be held at Ada Schools auditorium at 7 p.m. on Friday.

Not many Ada organizations or events have that long a lifespan. Zach Beaschler, Student Council President, will be emcee.  Council sponsors the contest. Chanda Smith is advisor. This year’s participants are:

ONU business students are VITA providers

Again this year, taxpayers can receive free income tax assistance from ONU business students through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).

The service is available from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings through April 6 at the business college.

Tickets to the Ada Athletic Boosters reverse raffle are now on sale. The grand prize: $10,000.

Ms. Conley described how the proceeds from the 8th annual reverse raffle will be used to benefit athletes:

The truck/tractor pull, called Hillbilly Sound, will be coming to Ada War Memorial Park again this year in early summer. Put this on your calendar: 7-11 p.m. on Friday, June 8. There is usually a pull in the early fall, as well.
