The Village Garden is full of edible food, drawing growers from far and wide.

Pictured are Shaheed Khan and his mother, Sherin, immigrants from Bangladesh, who are growing some foods common to Americans, such as cucumbers and tomatoes, as well as some vegetables and herbs that are hard to find in the stores here.

The garden, located behind Liberty National Bank, is run by ReStore Community Center.

The Khans have lived in Ada for about a year. Shaheed will be a senior in high school here this fall.
