The Polar Bear Swim School is now accepting registration for the spring. Registration is available on the ONU Sports website, or you may simply click HERE.

The dates for all five lessons are as follows:

March 26

April 2, 16, 23, 30

Two sessions are available, and each session will offer all 5 levels.

Session 1 will run from 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Session 2 will run from 6:45-7:30 p.m.

Registration is on a first come first serve basis and typically fills up quickly.

Coming off of a 33-28 home win over Spencerville, the Ada High School football team goes on the road to face rugged Columbus Grove this coming Friday.

CG is 5-2 and 3-1 in the NWC after a 31-6 win at Crestview last Friday. Grove is ranked fourth in Div. VI, Region 22.

Ada (2-5, 1-3 NWC) is 0-2 on the road, while Grove is 4-0 at home. Their win over the Bearcats snapped a three-game losing skid. 

CG has won two in a row after a 7-0 loss at Allen East, and has captured four of its last five contests.

The Ohio Northern softball team has announced its 2023 schedule under seventh-year head coach Jackie Price.

The Polar Bears will get their 56th season underway March 11-19 with their annual Spring Break trip to Florida. The 10-to-12 game Spring Break schedule will be announced in February.

ONU will open its northern schedule on March 24-29 with home double headers with Calvin (Mich.) on March 24, Trine (Ind.) on March 25 and Alma (Mich.) on March 29.

Ohio Northern will open its Ohio Athletic Conference schedule with two games at Marietta on April 1.

Playing at home, the Ada High School volleyball team lost in straight sets to tall and athletic league leader Crestview in a Northwest Conference match Tuesday night, October 4.

The 25-7, 25-13, 25-9 loss dropped the Lady Bulldog record to 10-10 overall and 1-6 in the NWC. 

The dominating Knight girls squad clinched at least a share of the NWC title with the win. They improved to 12-6 and 7-0 in the NWC to stay in sole possession of first place with one league match remaining.

McGUFFEY--The visiting Ada High School volleyball team swept backyard arch-rival Upper Scioto Valley Monday night, October 3, at Alumni Fieldhouse.

The convincing 25-17, 25-20, 25-11 win upped the Lady Bulldogs record to 10-9 overall. USV fell to 6-8 with the defeat.

The Bulldogs beat the rival Rams with a balanced team effort.

Ada senior libero Courtney Sumner mustered up 18 digs to add to her program career record total.

Junior setter Autumn Andreasen dealt 13 assists and made seven digs.

Junior southpaw Mariah King led the Bulldogs with eight kills.

SPENCERVILLE--The visiting Ada High School girls soccer team lost 3-1 to Spencerville in a Northwest Conference match Monday evening, October 3.

The Bulldog girls fell to 5-8 overall and 0-4 in the NWC with the defeat. 

The Lady Bearcats improved to 2-7-3 overall and 1-3-1 in the NWC with their first league win. 

The game was scoreless for the first 25 minutes, with Ada controlling the ball for much of the first 15 minutes.

Spencerville scored the first goal, but Bulldog ace Ella Marshall tied it for Ada 1-1 with a record-setting score.
