Ohio Northern hosts the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament Sectionals this weekend. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for ONU students, seniors and children.

Ohio Northern University vs. Geneseo State (New York)

• Title game - winner advances to Division III Final 4
The Final Four contests are March 17-18 at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Mich.
COLUMBUS - Ada junior wrestler Chase Sumner won his first round match in the 138 lb. bracket at the Div. III state meet Thursday in Columbus at the Schottenstein Center.
Sumner is now 39-3 this season after winning his lone match of the day.
Sumner started out in the 16-man draw as a three seed against sophomore Billy Luft, a sophomore from Newark Catholic who came in as the two seed from the Coshocton district with a 37-7 record.
Sumner pinned Luft at 1:10 to advance to the quarterfinals against Gavin Stilke, the top seed in that quarter of the draw.
As ONU athletic teams near the end of their spring trips, the Polar Bears, for the most part, returned to their winning ways. Here's a run down on the latest from South Carolina and Florida.
HILTON HEAD, S.C. — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team posted its third consecutive victory as it defeated Albion (Mich.) Thursday morning at Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The Polar Bears improve to 11-2 overall, while the Britons fall to 3-4 overall.
Ada's Mackenzie Wills won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and won at doubles.

ONU sports teams were on the short end of the stick on Tuesday's competitions in the South during spring break. Maybe it was because the Polar Bears were out of their northern environment. Briefly, here are the results, if you care to read doom and gloom:
Men's tennis falls to Drew, 7-2, in Hilton Head, S.C.
Men's golf trails Thomas More (Ky.) after the first day of dual match play in Charleston, S.C.
Women's lacrosse looses 18-0 to Kean (N.Y.) in Port Charlotte, Fla.
Men's lacrosse beaten 12-7 by Guilford (N.C.) In Greensboro, N.C.
Baseball. drops 10-5 to St. John's Fisher (N.Y.) in Auburndale, Fla
ONU's Emily Richards has been named the Women's All-Great Lakes Region Track Athlete of the Year. For the second consecutive season, Richards earned the honor.
Richards set the Ohio Northern school records in the 800-meter run, 1-mile run and the 1,000-meter run in 2017.
She is also a part of the 4x400-meter dash record breaking team.
The junior, from Delaware Hayes HS, owns the sixth fastest time in Division III history in the 800-meter run and also owns the sixth fastest time in Division III history in the 1-mile run.
