Freshman Keegan Ross became the fourth player in Ohio Northern men's soccer history to score four goals as the No. 7 Ohio Northern men's soccer team topped Muskingum 5-0 Saturday night.

The Polar Bears finish the regular season with a 18-2 mark and a perfect 9-0 in the OAC, while the Muskies fall to 5-11-3, 2-7.

ONU has now won 18 straight OAC matches and is unbeaten in their last 23.

Ross capped off a phenomonial week in which he scored seven goals.

In addition to his four goals, Ross had a hat trick on Wednesday in Northern's 3-1 win over Wilmington.

Senior Anthony Fletcher caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from senior Tate Humphrey with 33 seconds left to lift Ohio Northern to a 20-19 football victory over Muskingum Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.

The Polar Bears improve to 3-5 overall and are 3-4 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while the Muskies fall to 1-7, 1-6.

Facing a 4th and goal from the 5-yard line, Humphrey rolled to his right and couldn't find an open receiver. He then looked back to his left and found Fletcher wide open in the corner of the end zone for the score.

Ada High School retained its number one spot in Region 24 (Division VI) and will entertain Waynesfield (4-6) at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 2, in the opening grounds of the 2012 Ohio High School football playoffs.

Freshman Keegan Ross notched his first career hat trick to lift the No. 7 Ohio Northern men's soccer team to its second straight OAC Regular Season Championship as they defeated Wilmington by a 3-1 score.

With the win the Polar Bears improve to 17-2 overall and remain perfect with an 8-0 mark in the OAC.

The Quakers fall to 10-6-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the OAC.

A couple records were broken by Ohio Northern in game.

Senior goalkeeper Mac Church became the all-time leader in minutes played in the OAC, and Ohio Northern now holds the record for most consecutive OAC wins with 19.

Ada High School volleyball player Taylor Willeke was picked to play in the District 8 Senior All-Star volleyball match.

The match is at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Wapakoneta High School. Willeke is on the Division IV East squad.

Ohio Northern clinched the No. 3 seed in next week's Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament with a 25-8, 25-12, 23-25, 25-5 victory over Wilmington Tuesday night at the ONU Sports Center.

The Polar Bears improve to 22-5 overall and are 5-2 in OAC action, while the Quakers fall to 7-18, 0-8.

Fourteen different ONU players registered at least one kill, led by freshman Ellie Gillespie with eight.

Northern dominated Sets 1, 2 and 4, hitting an amazing .458 collectively in those sets.

ONU hit .529 in Set 1 on nine kills in 17 attempts. Northern rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to go on an 10-1 run to take a 10-4 lead.
