Harold says, "Time to starting exercising"
Harold Cotsamire brought back more than shells from Florida. The retired ONU controller returned to Ada with an idea: begin a one-hour exercise class of standing, sitting, and stretching movements.
He and his wife, Doris, who passed away last fall, thought it would be a good idea to begin an exercise session in their hometown. Friends at the Ada United Methodist Church encouraged him to begin a class, so he has. Ten people attended the first session last week.
The activity begins at 9:30 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays at the church. He explained that everyone is welcome---men and women, no age requirement, no advanced signup, you don't have to be a member of the church to attend, just a desire to stay healthy. And, it's free.
After both retired, the Cotsamires volunteered to do mission work in Florida for the church for 17 years during the winter. They found that exercise classes in Florida were helpful to them and others, so a bi-weekly class has now begun here.
