The Wilson football dropped at midnight, and...
WE HAVE LOTS OF PHOTOS!
Who cares about the Super Bowl game?
Ada already did the Super Bowl. The night before.
It was the first-ever Made In Ada Wilson Football Festival.
A midnight Wison Football drop from the Ada depot, plus a Saturday afternoon and evening of Super Bowl previews, a free football movie, tailgating and a 51-football give-away brought hundreds of fans to downtown.
It packed Ada's restaurants and proclaimed to North America that it's really a small town named Ada that makes the foootball go 'round.
The Icon was there taking photos, videos and talking to people.
Please enjoy the following selection of photos from Icon photographers Monty Siekeman, Ken Collins and Fred Steiner.
