Baker Commons to be dedicated Saturday
ONU's 10th president and first lady, President Emeritus Kendall Baker, Hon. D. '11. and Toby Baker, BFA ’06, will be honored with the dedication of Baker Commons during Homecoming festivities on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 9 a.m.
The dedication will take place near Affinity Village, located along Polar Way Road and Loop Road.
The Board of Trustees established that the area on ONU’s campus that was developed during the Dr. Kendall Baker presidency will be known as “Baker Commons.”
Located primarily in the southwest quadrant of the campus, this area includes the Dicke House, Stadium View Apartments, Klondike’s Den, Polar Place, Dial-Roberson Stadium, the Remington Walk, Northern Commons and the Affinity Village.
