Sometimes a photographer has to be patient to get shots he wants.

Monday morning, almost two weeks into Spring, was the best chance for snow pictures since last fall.

Sure, Ada saw snow throughout the Winter, but not one that clings to trees and shrubs, set off by sunshine.

Patience pays off in getting just the right smile from a child, or a flock of birds landing in just the right place, or a basketball player making a fantastic layup.

We hope Ada Icon readers like these snow pictures taken along Autumn Drive this morning before the snow began to fall in long strings as the sun did its work in warming the Village once again.
