Facebook viewers help I.D. shoplifting suspect
The Ada, Ohio police sought assistance from the public to identify a white male shoplifting suspect on December 7--by posting a security camera video on Facebook and noting the suspect's vehicle color and make, as well as other identifying features.
Later that same day, Police Chief Michael Harnishfeger reported to village council that the suspect had been identified thanks to the response of social media followers.
