Reading with Rover
Practice your reading skills with the friendliest dog in Ada, Ohio - Snickerdoodle! He loves to sit with his trainer, (Susan Putt) and listen to children read! Reading with Rover is an exciting program returning to the Ada Public Library this Friday, September 12 and Friday, September 26 beginning at 3:45pm. Any child in Kindergarten-6th grade is able to participate. Sign-up is a must, so schedule a 20 minute time slot with one of our librarians at the circulation desk. Either stop in or call the library: 419-634-5246.
"Reading with Rover program helps kids practice reading by having them read aloud to dogs. Our "canine reading specialist" and their handlers provide children with a non-judgemental and supportive environment that helps to make reading a more fun and positive experience." www.thinkingoutsidethecage.org
