A chat with Aleece Al-Olimat
The Icon has invited Bel Mancuso to provide viewers with snapshot chats with Ada High School students. Here's here first submission:
Aleece Al-Olimat, Ada HS junior
What classes are you taking this semester?
I am currently taking advanced chemistry, government, anatomy, calculus II at ONU, composition II, and band.
What are your plans after high school?
My goals after high school may change over the course of time; however, at the moment I am planning on pursuing engineering or neuroscience.
What’s your favorite pastime and why?
One of my favorite pastimes is playing the piano. I really enjoy it because I feel like it’s a great method of self-expression.
Do you have a secret talent? If so, what is it?
I’m not sure if I’d necessarily call this a talent but I’m very good at memorizing dates and number sequences. I like to memorize my classmates’ birthdays so I can always be the first to wish them a happy birthday.
