Ada homes, past and present
This is a plate from the 1902 publication "Ada and the O.N.U. The New and the Old" photo book selected by Dr. David Devier.
Devier notes that three of the four houses are still standing in the community. The home built for ONU President Dr. Solomon Lehr burnt down many years ago.
Do you know where the others are located? The Icon will post this on Facebook to test readers' familiarity with these historic homes.
Editor's note: The Library of Congress provides electronic access to this volume of 33 photogravures at
https://www.loc.gov/resource/gdcmassbookdig.adaonu00broo/?sp=1&st=gallery
The book is in a collection in the public domain.
