Jerry K. Houx, age 78, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 8:08 p.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. 

He was born on October 3, 1944 in Alger, Ohio to the late Lester and Effie (Gossard) Houx, Sr.  

Jerry worked for the Laborers Local #329. 

Minnie F. Carty, age 85, of Wapakoneta, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 11:01 p.m. at Wapakoneta Manor.  

She was born on November 30, 1937, in Mousie, Kentucky to the late Robert and Gladys (Smith) Mosley.  

Joseph F. Campoli, age 80, of Ada, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 25, 2023.

He was born on January 30, 1943, in Nyack, New York to the late Girolamo and Angelina (Gatti) Campoli. On August 26, 1967, Joe married Margaret Cordeaux, she preceded him in death on January 25, 2010.

Joe is survived by his children: Joseph N. Campoli of Bradenton, FL, and Andrea Campoli of Ada; three grandchildren: Corbin (Taylor Kemmere) Crouse, Kyle Crouse and Jaden Crouse; a great granddaughter, Eva; and a sister, Marie Stone of Barnegat Light, NJ. 

He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Nick Campoli and Anthony Campoli. 

Janet Louise Nagy, age 79, of Piqua, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 12:18 a.m. at her residence, surrounded by her family. 

She was born on April 28, 1944, in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Sidney and Cleora (Amstutz) Burkholder. Janet was previously married to Bobby R. Van Hoose and he preceded her in death. On October 27, 1997 Janet married Dennis J. Nagy, Sr. and he survives in Piqua. 

Waneta Rose Caudill went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 24, 2023. She was 89 years old. Waneta Mayer was born on August 15, 1934, in Lima, Ohio to the late, Delbert and Opal (Shanks) Mayer, Sr.  On May 27, 1951, she married Frank Caudill, Sr. in Lima, Ohio.  He preceded her in death on July 16, 2008. 

Jayden Matthew Elwood, age 17, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. 

He was born on August 9, 2006, in Findlay, Ohio to Jessica Elwood. His mother, Jessica survives in Ada and his father, Matt Williams survives in Toledo. 

Jayden was entering his sophomore year at Ada High School. He enjoyed playing basketball, wrestling and playing video games. He also enjoyed music, being outdoors and being with his friends.
