Dexter Woods fires a hole-in-one

Ada freshman golfer Dexter Woods scored his first career hole-in-one on the par 3 9th hole at the Bluffton Golf Club on Sept. 5. It was during a match with Delphos Jefferson, Blufton and Lincolnview. His ace was attested by his playing partners. He was obliged, by golfing tradition, to buy a round of frosties for the entire team at the Bluffton Wendy's. Much like the Woods on the professional tour, Dexter's amateur career has spanned well over four weeks on the links. (Carl Wilkerson photo)
