AUBURNDALE, Fla. — The Ohio Northern baseball team used a strong fourth inning effort to defeat Pitt.-Greensburg Tuesday afternoon in Auburndale, Fla. at Lake Myrtle Park.

The Ohio Northern women's indoor track and field team saw seven members earn All-Great Lakes Region honors for the 2017 season.
Seniors Kelsey Commager (Maumee), Allie Gast (Grandville, Mich.), Michelle Mosler(Wapakoneta), and Meagan Ellinger (Bath, Ind./Union County), junior Emily Richards(Delaware/Hayes) and sophomores Taylor Fisher (Wapakoneta) and Maddy Reed(Lucasville/Piketon) all earned the honor.
Commager earned All-Great Lakes Region in both the long jump and the triple jump.
The senior owns the school record at ONU and will be competing in the event at the NCAA Div. III National Championships on Saturday, Mar. 11 at 10 am CST.

Clermont, Fla. — A 4-run first inning was enough for the Ohio Northern softball team in a 4-2 victory over Concordia (Ill.) on Tuesday morning at The Spring Games tournament at Hancock Park.
Freshman Gabby Stewart (Union, Ky./St. Henry) lifted Northern over Muhlenberg (Pa.) with a walkoff double to seal a 6-5 victory over the Mules
March is Women’s History Month. And, Ohio Northern's Department of Art and Design is highlighting some stories from its alumnae.
Here is Marilyn Lysohir's story. She is a 1972 ONU graduate.
Born in Sharon, Pa., Marilyn has studied at various universities including the Centro Internazionale Di Studi in Verona, Italy (1970-71) and at Washington State University (MFA ’79).
She also has taught at various schools such as the Kansas City Art Institute, the Ohio State University and New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred. In 2000, she was a visiting artist in residence at Ohio Northern’s department of art & design.
Actually, it's the Pumpkin Head family at Ready, Set, Grow Preschool. Thanks to students at the preschool, family members change their outfits and appearances quite often.
