Remember your first day of school as a first grader?
That experience was felt again this morning in the Ada Schools. First graders all the way to seniors said goodbye to summer and hello to the 2017-18 school year.
The Icon roamed the school halls and captured some of the pre-8:15 a.m. moments.
You'll see photos of students waiting in the cafeteria, waiting outside, meeting their teacher and finding their classroom.
Make certain you watch the video as the school doors open for the first time.

Gas may have jumped to $2.45 in Ada, but it's the price of feed that matters to these Renegade Equestrian Drill Team riders, by far the most popular entry in the 104th Farmers and Merchants Picnic parade on Saturday morning.
The drill team from Belle Center received hoots and hollers from the bystanders in their first appearance here. Samantha Mattevi is team captain. You'll find her working here in Ada at Tavern 101 and Bass Trucking.
The day turned out perfect compared to last year's gully washers which put a stop to festivities. Rain for F&M and Harvest and Herb Fest has been rare.

Two Hardin County natives will share their intaglio and relief prints, and artists books in this first 2017–18 exhibition at the ONU Elzay Gallery of Art.
The gallery season kicks-off on Sunday, Sept. 17 with “Home Is Where the Art Is,” a printmaking show by artists Marilyn (Turner) McPheron and Judith Steele.
It's a Lincoln Highway weekend. Here's one of the familar highway signs that's surrounded by flowers. CLICK HERE to view the yard sale list and map. (Monty Siekerman photo)

Eva Wolke and Calvin Fisher hand out piece after piece of pizza on Friday at the village pool during a pizza and pool party to conclude the free lunch program orchestrated by ReStore.
There isn't a count yet this year, but 1,500 free meals were given free to Ada area youngsters last year, so the program is a major endeavor.
The lunches were served Monday through Friday at War Memorial Park from the end of school in May until yesterday.
Now, its back to school. The ReStore program was especially popular on Fridays since there were water games and prizes that day.
