We would like to thank everyone for their support in providing a safe and fun After Prom for the Ada Junior-Senior Prom of 2018. ELIDA - The Ada baseball team was seeded 12th out of 13 teams at the Div. III Elida district drawings held Sunday.

 

Ada (4-11) will host 13th-seeded Fostoria Wednesday, May 9 at 5 p.m. in a first round game.

 

The winner will then play at second-seeded Fort Recovery on Friday, May 11 at 5 p.m. in the second round.

 

The second round survivor will play either third-seeded Ottawa-Glandorf, sixth seed Liberty-Benton or ninth seed Lakota at Elida May 17.

 

The district finals will be May 19 at 5 p.m. at Elida. Coldwater was voted the top seed in the 13-team sectional/district.

 

Lady Bulldogs seeded 2nd in tourney draw

ELIDA - The Ada softball team was seeded second out of 10 teams in the Div. IV Elida district drawings held Sunday.

 

The Lady Bulldogs (11-6) were seeded behind only league foe Columbus Grove, with dangerous Wayne Trace ranked third. Ada received a first round bye.

 

The Lady Bulldogs will host the winner between Kalida and Continental on Thursday, May 10 in the sectional finals at 5 p.m. Kalida was seeded eighth and will visit seven seed Continental in the first round on Monday, May 7.

AHS Alumni Golf Outing planned

The Ada High School Alumni Association will have a golf outing on Saturday, July 9, at Colonial Golfers Club to assist the organization’s scholarship fund. Women’s tennis almost wins OAC crown

CLEVELAND — Senior Lynn Kelly (Mason) won at No. 2 singles to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team in an 8-1 loss at John Carroll in a battle for the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season title on Sunday afternoon at Cleveland State's Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

The Polar Bears end their regular season 18-6 overall and finish their OAC slate 7-1, while the Blue Streaks improve to 14-6 overall and win the league's regular season title with an 8-0 record.
