Village Voice - some summer advice
The Village of Ada will be running informational articles about Village policies and services currently offered. These articles will be for informational purposes only, and further details and the complete Codified Ordinances may be found on the Village website, www.adaohio.org, or by calling the Village Water Office at 419-634-4045.
School’s Out!!!!
Ask any student what is most important about today (Thursday, May 24th), and the answer will probably come faster than lightning: “It’s the last day of school!”
The rest of us know what that means – seeing kids out and about throughout the day. There will be more children walking, biking and playing outside during daylight hours.
Some popular paths kids may use are to the library for summer reading club, the park for various summer activities and downtown for ice cream.
Eyes and ears will be the most important tools we all have over the next few months.
Encourage your children to stay aware of their surroundings by looking before they bike or walk into the street. If your child reports something suspicious to you, do not hesitate to contact the Ada Police Department with details. Also, if you see something suspicious, contact the Ada Police Department.
Use extra caution when driving around Ada. Children may not always look both ways before attempting to cross a street, or they may be so focused on getting their ball back that they dodge out into the streets.
Let’s make this a great, safe summer! Happy Summer Vacation!
