FROM FACEBOOK__The Ada Food Pantry has shared the following wish list for February 2026 donations:

  • Canned fruit
  • Canned beans

Donations can be dropped on Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-noon. The Food Pantry is located at Ada Presbyterian Church, 201 S. Main St., using the yellow door facing Lincoln Ave.

Winter storm recovery tips from the Village of Ada

MARION__The Ada High School wrestling team competed at the annual 20-team Sally George Marion Pleasant Invitational tournament on Friday and Saturday, January 30-31.

The Bulldog grapplers finished 18th in the tough event with 21 points. Liberty Center won the tournament with 186.5 points, while Mansfield Madison came in 10 points behind LC in second.

Ada freshman Case Vieira reached the semifinals of the 106 lbs. tournament bracket with two byes and a 10-5 decision victory. In the semis, he was pinned by the eventual weight class champion, top-seeded senior Braedyn Tammarine of Liberty Center.

FROM FACEBOOK__Ada Elementary is once again partnering with the United Way of Hardin County for its annual SOUPER Bowl. Students in grades K–5 will be competing to bring in the most canned and non-perishable food items as they try to score the big touchdown. The class that collects the most items will earn a pizza party.  All donations will help support local food banks and homeless shelters in Hardin County. Donation dates: January 26 – February 6

FROM ONUSPORTS.COM__The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team ifinished off its first undefeated regular season in program history and celebrated Senior Day with a 186-108 victory over Mount Union on Saturday afternoon.
