MEDIA RELEASE__The ONU Department of Art & Communication has announced the opening reception of the 2025 United States International Poster Biennial Exhibition, which features about 100 designers and artists from around the world - https://www.usipb.com/edition-2025/

The reception takes place Tuesday, March 24 from 3–5 p.m. at the Elzay Gallery of Art.  

Drawn from 11,845 submissions across 93 countries, this global exhibition celebrates the power of posters to inform, provoke, and inspire.

MEDIA RELEASE__Ohio Northern University’s College of Arts & Sciences will welcome back distinguished alumna Dr. Carla Kim, BS ’97, for the 2026 Keiser Distinguished Lectureship in Life Sciences on Tuesday, March 24, at 7:30 p.m. The lecture, which takes place in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts, is free and open to the public.

Kim, a renowned researcher in lung stem cells, is Professor of Pediatrics in the Field of Regenerative Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Her presentation is titled “Lung Organoids: Windows to Mechanism and Therapy of Lung Disease and Cancer.”

MEDIA RELEASE__The Lima Area Youth Orchestra will present their annual Spring Finale Concert to the public on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM in the Joe Henderson Auditorium at Lima Senior High School.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.  This concert will feature music associated with all things Disney.  From the classical side of Fantasia and Sleeping Beauty to the more modern sounds of Hamilton, Lilo & Stitch, and Moana, this concert will have something for everyone.
