ADA - The Ada volleyball team built a two-set lead but fell to a late rally from visiting Columbus Grove in a seesaw five-set Northwest Conference thriller Tuesday night.
The 21-25, 25-27, 25-23, 25-21, 15-9 defeat snapped a three-match Ada win streak and dropped the purple and gold record to 5-3 (0-1 NWC).
Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) will host “Why Choose BVHS for Women’s Health?” virtual presentation, a part of the 2020 virtual “Live and Learn” Facebook Live series.
Dr. Allison Westcott, a physician with Blanchard Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology and Sara Weihrauch, PA-C, physician assistant with Blanchard Valley Obstetrics & Gynecology, will co-host a livestream event. Claude Stephen “Steve” Greer, 65, died on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at 5:47 p.m. at his residence in Ada.
He was born on Aug. 25, 1955, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Claude and Vernice (Compton) Russell. His father preceded him death and his mother survives in Alger.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed trapping, fishing, and hunting. He ran a bait shop for several years and raised pheasant and quail for release. Steve loved flea markets and yard sales. He had a wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. Steve was a born again Christian. He took tremendous pleasure and pride in his grandchildren.
