ReStore sponsoring backpack drive for 2015-16 school year
ReStore Community Center and community members are sponsoring a backpack drive to help children and families receive school supplies and backpacks for the upcoming 2015-2016 school year.
School supplies are increasing in price each year, and can become a financial burden on families. ReStore would love to help families by providing supplies and the backpacks they need. We are looking for families, groups or individuals that would like to help by “adopting” a backpack and filling it with the specific supplies needed in our area.
If you do not feel that you can donate an entire complete backpack, were are also accepting donations of school supplies and backpacks that can be assembled together as a complete package.
Some individuals/groups are also providing Walmart or Dollar General Gift cards to purchase needed supplies. Thank you for your support. Together, we can help those in need.
For more information, please call Holly Green at 419-204-8626 by August 1 to participate.
