By Monty Siekerman
Among the F&M prince and princess candidates this year are (front row, from left) Riece Clark, Kaylee Watson; (back row, from left) Kyleigh Watson, Maudie Decker.
Here's the scoop on the seven candidates:
Riece Clark, guardian Gale Mullett, age 4, preschool, enjoys playing ball, riding his motorcycle, swimming, and playing with cars.
Kaylee Watson, daughter of Jordan and Megan Watson, age 9, fourth grade, enjoys horseback riding, softball, Girl Scouts, working in the garden with her Dad and raising bunnies with her Mom.
Kyleigh Watson, daughter of Jordan and Megan Watson, age 5, kindergarten, enjoys playing Barbies, soccer, doing anything outside.
Maudie Decker, daughter of Melissa and Craig Decker, age 10, fourth grade.
Kendall Fisher, daughter of Nick and Tara Fisher, age 5, kindergarten, enjoys playing outside and playing dress up.
Ava Dickey, daughter of Ryan and Jennifer Dickey, age 4, preschool, enjoys dance.
Isaac Roniger, son of Nick and Emily Roniger, age 4, preschool, enjoys riding bike, learning about dinosaurs, and playing outside.
The candidates sell tickers, and those with the most sales win the prince and princess titles.
Ninety percent of the ticket sales go to F&M with 10 percent given back to the sellers. Last year, the candidates sold $12,000 worth of tickets. When F&M makes an overall profit, the money is given to the park board to benefit Ada War Memorial Park; however last year's downpours cut into overall profits since most activities were cancelled due to the storms.
