Here's some recent announcements from the Ada school website of interest to Icon viewers:

HARDIN COUNTY FAIR PARTICIPANTS:  Any students involved with the fair, please stop in the high school office and pick up a vacation form.  The completed form must be turned in at least one week prior to the fair.

HIGH SCHOOL QUIZ BOWL: Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in being a member of this year's high school quiz bowl team should plan to meet in Mr. Lusk's room Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 7:45 a.m.
HARVEST AND HERB FESTIVAL: Applications for the 2017 Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Harvest and Herb Queen are in the high school office.  Deadline to submit your completed application is Wednesday, Sept. 6. at 5 p.m. to Arlene Allison.

VARSITY GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: The Ada volleyball team lost to Coldwater last night. Melina had 17 kills. Maddie had 12 assists. Sidney had 3 aces and Olivia had 17 digs. We also want to congratulate Melina for being the first player in Ada history to hit the milestone of 1000 kills in her career. We are very proud of her and the team.
