The Academy is designed to provide a working knowledge of the Hardin County sheriff’s office. It will explain and demonstrate the various aspects of the sheriff’s responsibilities using classroom discussion and hands-on participation. Participants will observe and experience the talents, skills, diversity, and quality of the office.
Hardin County residents, at least 18 years of age, may apply. Applications may be picked up from the office. The deadline to apply is Wednesday Feb. 28.. A $30 fee is required when the application is submitted.
