Meet Vancrest's assisted living resident in this month's spotlight
Vancrest assisted living resident Maryan Driggers is in the Vancrest spotlight this month.
Attending school in St. Louis, she eventually became a furniture salesperson in Cincinnati. She says that her favorite occupation was being a pastor’s wife.
She and her husband, Morris, were married for 50 years. There have four children, Gary, Steve, Tom and Susan.
In 2012 she visited China with some of her family members. While there, she was surprised with a birthday party celebrated while hiking the Great Wall. She said that part of the surprise was that a daughter-in-law carried a diaper bag for the kids that was actually filled with champagne and brownies to celebrate her 85th birthday.
