Funeral service for Betty Dodds on Feb. 17
Mary E. “Betty” “Grandma B” Dodds, 101, died on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 at 6:59 a.m. at Vancrest of Ada.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1918, in McGuffey to the late A.C. and Marie (Shrider) Stuber. Betty was an accountant and bookkeeper for the Ohio Department of Transportation. She was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren, Harrod and attended the Abundant Life Church of Kenton.
She is survived by her two daughters: Ragene Dodds and Judy (Gary) Risner both of McGuffey; four grandchildren: Tony Risner, Tina (Steve) Oglesbee, Teri (Ed) Wyss and Tracy (Becky) Risner; and nine great grandchildren: Corey (Meagan Roof) Oglesbee, Tyler (Rachel) Wyss, Brooke (Vincent) Olivieri, Austin (Brittannie) Oglesbee, Taylor Risner, Tanner (Vanessa) Risner, Trey Risner, Rhiannon Risner and Ruby Risner; and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennie Krisher.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17, at Preston Cemetery on County Road 90, Alger, with Tyler Wyss officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to HARCO Industries, 707 N. Ida Street, Kenton, Ohio 43326 and/or Bridge Hospice, 15100 Birchaven Lane, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
